Yes. The daily game is free across all four leagues. Remove Ads is an optional $3.99/year subscription that auto-renews until you cancel — manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your streak and stats live on your device, and we never ask for an email or password.
How many puzzles are there each day?
Eight. NFL and NHL each get three — Easy, Medium, and Hard — and MLB and NBA each get one. They're independent, so solving NFL Easy leaves NFL Hard waiting for you. New puzzles drop at midnight ET.
What do the difficulty tiers mean?
Position, not obscurity. In the NFL, Easy is skill players (QB, RB, WR, TE), Medium adds linemen and defense, and Hard brings in kickers and punters. The NHL works the same way: forwards, then defense, then goalies. Every answer is a current player — there's no all-time or retired pool.
What happens after I finish the daily?
Practice. That league and difficulty keeps serving random players for as long as you want to play. Practice rounds never affect your streak or your stats — only the dailies count.
I missed a day. Did I lose my streak?
Yes. Streaks are per league and count consecutive days you won at least one of that league's dailies. Skip a day, or play without solving one, and that league's streak goes back to zero. Your all-time stats stay.
Which devices are supported?
Roster Rush runs on iPhone and iPad, iOS 15.1 and later. The game is portrait-oriented and fully accessible with VoiceOver and Dynamic Type. Today's puzzles are cached, so you can play them offline.
Where do the rosters come from?
Public roster data, refreshed daily — so trades, call-ups, and number changes show up fast.
